Computer user’s management:

This panel allows the administrator to add, configure or delete the computer users that are monitored by net-MaMMa.

When net-MaMMa is installed, the installation program creates a computer user account for each Windows users. If the computer has 3 users (Father, Mother, Mary) net-MaMMa will automatically create users for these accounts.

Each user will have a different monitoring account so that you can attribute different configurations to each one of them.
Additionally, besides the individual configurations of users there is a generic account named “Default User”. By default, this account configuration is applied to all users. has the configurations and all programs, Internet pages and keywords added to this configuration profile will be used by all other user profiles. So, if you add a new Internet page or program to the dangerous list, that page or program will be blocked to all users to whom net-MaMMa is instructed to block dangerous pages or programs

This configuration is applied by default to all new users that still do not have specific configuration in net-MaMMa’s users list.
This is why you must be careful to correctly balance the limitations for this account. If the user you need to monitor is a computer administrator (often this is true – the children are commonly set up as computer administrators) and he devises that something is wrong with his account because there are web links he cannot access anymore or he cannot play his games more than one hour per day (due to net-MaMMa). He might try to create a new Windows account. If he creates this new account, net-MaMMa will monitor this new account accordingly to the “Default User” profile, At least before you log in again and set up this new account. That’s why you have to pay special attention to the “Default User" account, especially if your children windows accounts are set up as administrators or power users.

Toolbar

The user’s management panel toolbar has three buttons:

	Adds a new user and opens his configuration window..
	When directly pressed opens the configuration window of the user which you selected in the user’s area. Otherwise, if you press the down arrow, it shows a menu where you can choose to manage the configuration of the selected user or the configuration of the “Default User”
	Deletes the user previously selected from the user’s area as well as all the net-MaMMa records related to him.

The users list only supports operations done to one user at a time.
